I am sure you have heard a million times about mindset. I have as well, but for a few moments I want to share with you a possible slightly different view or consideration that can provide you tremendous benefits if utilized.
When you have an obstacle or challenge (especially a recurring one), a difficult decision to make or if you are trying to accomplish something that you haven’t had success with, consider what thoughts you have about that situation, how are you handling it mentally, what is your mindset? Why? I ask because if you lead with negative thoughts (aggravation, annoyance, frustration), negative breeds negative. Though you may have something difficult to deal with (and at times we all do) if your mindset is also negative it will promote a few things:
You naturally create layers of stress. There is already the original issue that initiates the stress. If you manage it with a negative mindset, this will trigger additional stress.
Thinking negative will do one of two things; either, never get you the results you want or it takes you through an extremely long route to get your wanted results and who wants to live with obstacles and stresses longer than they have to.
Negativity clouds your vision and strategy to identify your way out of the obstacle or challenge. Sometimes in negative thinking you are so focused on the negative (and cradling that feeling) that you don’t see the positive way out because its just not what your focused on.
I understand we all have negative thoughts from time to time, but the goal is to not let those negative thoughts last too long or be the controlling thought pattern. What you focus on most of the time is what you manifest in your life. I encourage you to think more positively and let those positive thoughts and mindset get you your desired results quicker.
